Stinger Transition
Starting Soon Version
Be Right Back Version
Ending Soon Version
First step was to meet with the client and go over what they wanted to have animated from the original art piece. I also brought up that he might want to have a stream stinger and he agreed. After the meeting, I got right to working on separating all the components on separate layers within the Photoshop Document. Below is the original asset given to me, then each layer separated.
Original Asset (Made by Cotopes)
Extended and Fixed Background
Character Separated
Final Composite
Up next was to animate everything that the client wanted. My method was to use the pen tool to make the character move through the scene. This came with some troubleshooting, but I eventually got it to a point where the client was happy. I know the client was happy, but I wanted to go beyond and do more than what he asked me to do. I made changes and added new stuff to it and sent it to the client to see what he thought. The client loved the final renditions.
