Version 1

Version 2

First things first! Stream stingers are the transitions you see on a streamer's stream where they go from one scene to another. This can be done through track mattes or through stingers. First thing to do was to create a couple of storyboards. From there I went directly into execution and made some alterations all while staying withing the brand guide that was presented to me. In the end, two versions were made and shown above. Both versions were initially going to be used separately, but the two versions work better together than being separated. Below is a video of both transitions being used live on a stream.
Up next is to have some scene elements. This can be done for whenever the streamer needs to disappear for a quick time whether that be before stream starts or during stream. Most streamers nowadays have a couple of scenes: "Starting soon" scene, "Be right back" scene, and an "Ending soon" scene. I had an idea of using the character and motion capture to composite something that hopefully entertains people while they all start to tune in for the stream, wait for the streamer to return from a break, or keep the attention as stream ends. This would be done through the scenes mentioned above. For these, I went through the same process as for the stingers although added motion captured footage would be composited on top of it. Since the scenes are 10 minutes long to give the streamer flexibility, I'm not going to let you sit there and watch it for 30 minutes. So, I created a shortened cut for your viewing pleasures.
